Steve R.
Steve grew up in the red rocks of Southern Utah with a steering wheel in one hand and a tire gauge in the other. With over 25 years of experience in rock crawling and trail guiding, Steve is known across the region for being one of the best spotters and drivers around.
He’s got a knack for calming even the most nervous guests while still pushing the adventure to its limit—never boring, never reckless, always in control. Drivers seek him out for guidance, coaching, and trail leadership, and he’s passionate about helping others build confidence behind the wheel.
Whether he’s taking a family to their first waterfall or leading a group of hardcore wheelers through The Maze, Steve brings a cool head, sharp eye, and deep respect for the land—and it shows in every tour.

Weston was raised on similar trails that shaped Off the Grid 4x4 Tours—exploring switchbacks, scaling slickrock, and learning from the best. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive that matches his love for the outdoors, Weston has built and scaled multiple successful businesses—but Off the Grid is where his passion and purpose collide.
