Not at all! We offer Ride-Along Tours in our guided Jeeps if you’d rather relax and let us do the driving. If you have your own 4x4, you can book a You-Drive Tour and follow us on the trail.
Each trail has different requirements. Some trails are beginner-friendly, but others demand minimum 35"–37" tires, lockers, and experience. Trail-specific requirements are listed on each tour page. If you’re not sure if your rig qualifies, reach out—we’re happy to help.
Our You-Drive tour is for experienced drivers with their own rigs who want a local expert to lead them through technical trails, spot obstacles, and offer line advice. You’re in the driver’s seat—we’re your co-pilot.
Tours range from 2.5 to 5 hours, depending on the trail. Each tour listing includes an estimated duration so you can plan accordingly.
Absolutely! Our Ride-Along Tours are beginner-friendly and fully guided—no experience necessary. If you want to drive your own rig but are newer to wheeling, we recommend starting with a scenic or moderate trail and letting us help guide you through it.

-Closed-toe shoes (water shoes if you’re doing Toquerville Falls)

-A camera or phone—you’ll want photos
We’ll let you know if any tour needs something specific when you book.
Some of our trails are high-clearance, low-risk, but others—like The Maze or Rattlesnake Gulch—come with a real risk of body damage. We’ll always let you know what to expect, and we never pressure anyone to take an obstacle they’re not comfortable with.
Most tours meet at a staging area near Sand Hollow State Park. Directions and GPS pins will be sent after booking.
Yes! Kids are welcome on Ride-Along Tours as long as they meet Utah car seat laws. Just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Southern Utah is usually sunny, but if weather makes a trail unsafe, we’ll reschedule or offer an alternative route. Rain can turn water crossings into rivers—safety comes first, always.
